Amazon India Goes Live With Junglee.com

As rumored few days back, Amazon launched its online shopping service in India with Junglee.com. As of writing this article, you cannot directly buy products from the website which is still in beta service. One of the reasons could be the government's approval in retail market.

For now, you can only find and discover products, making it as purchase decision making site than a purchase site.

According to the website listing, customers can discover over 1.2 crore products and 14,000 brands and purchase items directly from hundreds of retailers including Homeshop18, UniverCell, Hidesign, Gitanjali, The Bombay Store, Fabindia, Bata India Limited, Dabur Uveda, Microsoft India Store, Reebok, and Amazon.com.

The name Junglee (means ‘of the jungle’ ) came from the company Junglee Corp which was acquired by Amazon.com in 1998 which provides a huge database to help shoppers. You can still use using existing Amazon.com account for logging in and provide user reviews and other details.

Google Wallet: The Future Innovative Mobile Payments

Earlier few months, Google unveiled future innovative way of payment technology – Google Wallet. Today, Google released its first version of the Android app with Sprint Nexus S 4G phones through an over the air update.
