Samsung Announces Another Galaxy Series Phone – Galaxy S2 HD

Well, Samsung gone crazy with its hit Galaxy series. We know that Galaxy S2 is doing great with over 10 million phones sold worldwide with no signs of stopping, the company already announced officially a new phone in South Korea.

This new phone named Samsung S2 HD comes with massive 4.65” display, 720p resolution and 1.5 Ghz dual-core chip.

In fact, there are two phones announced today via a Korean press release, Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy S2 HD LTE. The HD phone comes with 720p (1280x720) display, 4.65” size, super AMOLED HD Plus display, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. This is the second Galaxy smartphone other than Galaxy Note to get 720p. Samsung claims this will be 5 times faster compared to current 3G LTE.

Other hardware specs include 8MP camera, Full HD video playback, TV out, Mobile HD link, 16 GB internal memory, NFC support, 1850 mAh battery.

While the first Galaxy S2 is still being launched in some major markets like the United States, all those proud Android powered Samsung S2 owners who bought recently, don’t you feel cheated?

For now, these new two phones will be exclusive to Sunkyoung (SK) Telecom, LG U+, KT in Korea.
