A very interesting report from Engadget reveals new details about Apple’s future products scheduled for 2011. It talks about iPhone 5, iPad 2 and Apple TV. The website has a pretty solid track record with their Apple scoops and the details will surprise you.

iPhone 5 will be a ‘completely re-designed handset’ and will feature Apple’s new CPU, A5 (a Cortex A9-based, multi core chip). It may feature a Qualcomm chipset that does triple duty as the CDMA/ GSM/ UMTS baseband processor. iPhone 5 is on track for this summer launch and right now, it is being tested by senior Apple staff.

The report also claims that the iPad 2 will feature a higher resolution screen with Retina Display. It will get front and rear cameras and an SD slot as well.

So what does this all mean? If this concrete evidence is actually true, we shall be seeing some really awesome features on the next generation of iPhone and iPad.

Those who are planning to buy the current device models, have a second thought and wait for these whoppers!
