Nokia N8, the much awaited SmartPhone is set to launch in India

Nokia is all set to roll out its much awaited Smartphone Nokia N8 in the market. The company has revealed its features through a demonstration to the media in Delhi. It is the first handset from Nokia with a 12 MP camera and World’s first Symbian^3 device.

Nokia N8 comes with an anodized aluminum body and 3.5″, 640 x 360 pixel AMOLED 16:9 nHD display. It has 16 GB built-in memory which is expandable up to 32 GB. Other features include dedicated microphone, Quint-band 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0. The smartphone will be available in 5 colors like silver white, dark grey, orange, blue and green.

Some special features include:

  • 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Customizable HD Video, Face recognition software
  • Connect to Your Home Theatre using an HDMI connection with 720p and 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus surround, Support for Flash video
  • Symbian^3 Features like multi touch support, flick scrolling, pinch-zoom
  • Handwriting recognition for Chinese
  • Orientation sensor (Accelerometer), Compass (Magnetometer)
  • Integrated GPS, A-GPS receivers, Wi-Fi Positioning, Ovi Maps with free car & pedestrian navigation

Nokia N8 is expected to be available this October in India within a price range of Rs. 22,000 to 23,000

Microsoft Officially Confirmed New Windows Logo

Microsoft changed its Windows Logo, an inspired design from its new Metro interface.
